MISSION

Our mission is to bring hope of a better life to all Haitians through the game of soccer.  We believe that the teamwork, dedication, and perseverance that the Haitian U-17 Soccer team girls have learned and shown through soccer, will equip them to face the challenges of their post earthquake situation.  As we have seen countless times, sports have brought people together amidst great turmoil. Likewise, our mission is to provide these girls with the confidence to show their people that there is hope not only for Haitian soccer, but also for the devastated nation of Haiti.

GOALS

3.)  To provide personal and financial support to enroll as many of the girls in United States colleges as possible.  Not only will that give the girls another chance to play the game they love but the college experience will change their lives forever.  One or two will be ready academically by the spring of 2012.  The first girls have been identified, profiles of their academic and soccer accomplishments have been prepared, and colleges are being contacted.

2.)  To provide help to these girls with the daily necessities of life and to let then know that they are not forgotten.  In March, 2011 Bryane led a group from the foundation on a visit to the girls in Haiti.  The group took 800 pounds of clothing, supplies, and educational materials and spent 3 days with the team.  See photos on following pages.

1.)  To bring the Haitian U-17 Women's National Team to a training camp and to play in the Disney Cup International Youth Tournament, July 6th -July 18th, 2010.  To show them that they are capable of doing incredible things; there is still hope for their lives and the life of their country.  Completed successfully in the summer of 2010.  See photos and news articles on following pages.

The story of the Haitian girls soccer team at the CONCACAF U17 tournament aired April 27 on E:60. There was no Hollywood ending. The girls didn't even score a goal. Losing meant the girls would have to return to their home island and face the results of January's devastating earthquake. Lisa Salters reports.
